WRITING RETREAT | VOYAGER OF THE SEA

Join us for 8 days of writing, relaxation, & connection as we set sail from Brisbane on the 19th February 2026

Hi there,

It’s been a huge publication year so far for your hosts, Alli Sinclair and TM Clark. Alli’s latest historical fiction, A Woman’s Voice, was published in July by Penguin, and she’s still touring with QLD events this week.

If you would like to come along and support Alli in Indoorpilly on October 16, or Hervey Bay on October 18, you can do so at www.brisbane.qld.gov.au and events.visitfrasercoast.com

Tina’s new book, Daughter of Africa, is coming out in November.

And the best news, February 2026 is just around the corner, and we are both looking forward to our event of the year together: Writers at Sea. So now you are caught up with what’s been happening in our lives…

If you have already booked your cabin and secured your place on the Writers At Sea Retreat, we can’t wait to see you in 127 days! (Awesome… it’s coming fast!!!)

If you are still on the fence…

Time is ticking past, but the good news is, if needed, you still have time to book and pay off the cruise and the retreat.

Ask yourself - what’s your dream?

Ever dreamt of refining your craft while surrounded by endless blue horizons? Well, it’s time to make that dream a reality. Writers at Sea is calling, and we’re inviting writers of all styles, genres and experience levels to join us for an adventure on the Pacific Ocean.

This unique voyage blends creativity, community, and a touch of luxury, the perfect setting to unlock your writing potential.

What’s on Deck

Personalised lectures

The at-sea days lecture topics are based on the work we read before the cruise. We see where the writers attending are in their writing journey, and we tailor-make lectures to share with you to help you get the most out of our time together.

Lively Discussions

On each sea day, we join in-depth conversations with fellow writers as we explore the craft, share insights, debate techniques, and discuss the publishing industry and experiences. Expect a lively session, filled with inspiration, laughter, and meaningful connections.

Collaborative Writing Exercises

On sea days, unleash your creativity with ‘whirlpools,’ writing with your fellow cruisers in the afternoons; you might find unexpected ideas, add words to your WIP, plan or free write, as long as you are flexing your storytelling voice and putting thoughts on computers/paper.

Personalised Feedback

Receive tailored advice from Tina & Alli. Fine-tune your work with constructive feedback and practical guidance. There is an individual Zoom session for feedback before we get on board, then have your own writing mentor on deck for a week.
